  Wow! I will be coming here every year. It's hard I dont know if I should tell everyone how amazing this place is or keep it to myself so I dont have to fight to book a room. My partner and I frequently travel and this is the best hotel we have ever stayed. For my partner this is also comparing overseas! Our experience is hard to put in words. First, they matched a price online which was awesome. The guy that checks you in will make you a drink and also make sure your room is ready. We had a drink in an apothecary as soon as I signed for my room. We stayed in two different rooms. They were both so unique and so beautiful. There was so much time spent finding the perfect decorations it makes for an amazing environment. I plan to have any celebration requiring a room at this place. I'm so thankful I found it.

  I cannot express enthusiastically enough how pleased I am with our decision to stay at Maxwell Mansion for our romantic weekend getaway. The price is not nearly the most outstanding factor in my experience, but it should be stated that the value is unheard of. At basically the same price of any ordinary hotel room you can stay at this gorgeous site. I do fear the owners will catch on to how under-priced it is.
  
  That said, the carriage house room we stayed in was beautiful and clean with a whirlpool tub and keurig. The thing that makes this such a fantastic spot for a romantic weekend, besides being lovely in itself, the staff are all but invisible, only on site at as-needed times, check-in/out and housekeeping times. There's a sense of mutual respect and genuine class when the establishment is peaceful rather than bustling with staff and management like most chain hotels.
  
  I cannot imagine visiting Lake Geneva and staying anywhere else.

  We would stay here again. Good location close to everything, restaurants, shopping, bars and the lake. Our room was in the Carriage House which has rustic decor, nicely laid out and comfortable bed, clean room, nice quality bed linens and towels. Very happy with the room. Looks like the grounds would be beautiful in the warm months. I would recommend these lodgings to anyone.
